Abstract
This article focuses on the perspectives of partners of females with cystic fibrosis (CF) regarding sexual and reproductive health (SRH) care, highlighting persistent gaps despite advances in CF treatment. A mixed-methods study involving surveys and interviews with partners revealed limited CF-specific SRH knowledge, infrequent provider-initiated discussions, and paternalistic attitudes that often discourage reproductive autonomy. Partners play a crucial role in supporting females with CF and express a strong desire to be included in SRH decision-making. The findings emphasize the need for improved provider education, early and regular SRH conversations, and interprofessional collaboration to enhance patient-centered care and informed reproductive choices in the CF population.
