Abstract
The article offers a perspective on migrant and refugee health in the United Kingdom (UK). It considers being a migrant as key determinant in health and wellbeing and stresses the need for the UK to provide refugee- and migrant-sensitive healthcare services. It calls for support for the resilience of migrants as they have to deal with xenophobia, discrimination, poor housing and working conditions and some become target for human trafficking and other types of exploitation.
