Abstract
The article comments on the damage brought by the One Big Beautiful Bill to master of public health education, the workforce and the future of U.S. public health. It discusses the consequences of the termination of the Graduate PLUS loan program for public health students in terms of finance and health outcomes, as well as the undermining of the workforce pipeline, erosion of public trust, reduced diversity in graduate programs, and widening of health disparities or inequities.
