Abstract

Consumers are becoming more familiar with dietary supplements for inner beauty and this trend has been growing overtime. The percentage of consumers buying ingestible skin care, just in the UK and France, has risen from 14% in 2017 to 30% in 2022, a Lycored survey revealed. In Germany, a dm survey conducted through "unser dm", the dm online community, revealed that products for skin, hair and nails are the third favorite dietary supplements category, behind vitamins & minerals and cold products. This market has specific requirements though that still need to be addressed to successfully meet customer needs. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
