Abstract

The article focuses on the relationship between COVID-19 infection severity and headache characteristics in patients following the illness. Conducted on 50 individuals with headaches occurring within six months after COVID-19 diagnosis, the study found that the severity of COVID-19 significantly correlated with the onset, severity, and frequency of post-COVID headaches, while headache duration showed a less significant association. Age was also significantly related to COVID-19 severity, whereas gender did not significantly affect headache features or disease severity. The findings suggest that COVID-19’s impact on the central nervous system may influence headache patterns in affected patients.
