Abstract
The author expresses concern over the dangerously low levels of uptake of the early childhood cover of vaccination evaluated rapidly (COVER) programme that immunises children against diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, polio and other diseases despite its proven efficacy and strong promotion in the United Kingdom. She explains the vaccinations provided under the programme. She describes factors behind the limited spring 2024 uptake of COVID-19 vaccination.
