Abstract

Compared with whites, Latinos perceive a lack of social support, logistical barriers, low treatment efficacy, cultural barriers, and immigration‐related concerns as obstacles to treatment for alcohol use disorder (AUD), according to researchers who tested a new measure, the "Barriers to Specialty Alcohol Treatment" (BSAT) scale.
