Abstract
A majority of states have instituted or are planning to implement fee‐for‐service rate increases in order to strengthen the behavioral health workforce available to Medicaid beneficiaries, according to a new Kaiser Family Foundation (KFF) analysis. Most of the states that use managed care organizations (MCOs) to oversee Medicaid services require these entities to implement the fee‐for‐service increases as well, according to the report.
