Abstract

The article discusses a study by A. Beccia and colleagues which analyzed lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, intersex, asexual, aromantic, nonbinary, and other minoritized sexual and gender identity (LGBTQIA+) versus non-LGBTQIA+ mental health disparities. Topics include the feasibility of applying intersectionality to LGBTQIA+ mental health, importance of the combination of minority stress and intersectionality, and generational differences.
