Abstract
The article discusses the association between alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency (AATD) and increased risks of skin cancer, leukemia, and hepatic cancer based on a nationwide cohort study in Denmark. The study found that individuals with less severe AATD genotypes in the UK population also had higher risks of skin cancer and leukemia. The results suggest a need for further research to confirm and understand these relationships in greater detail. [Extracted from the article]
