Blepharitis in patients' eyelids: a discussion for nursing care.

Abstract

Blepharitis affects the ocular surface and is characterised by symptoms such as inflammation of the eyelashes, redness of the eyelid margins and itchiness. This article aims to create an awareness of this disease among community nurses by explaining its potential consequences to a person's physical and psychosocial wellbeing.
