Pleomorphic ichthyosis: proposed name for a heterogeneous group of congenital ichthyoses with phenotypic shifting and mild residual scaling. The other five had non-ARCI ichthyoses confirmed on molecular testing: Netherton syndrome, trichothiodystrophy, loricrin ichthyosis and epidermolytic ichthyosis (two cases).
