Abstract

The article advocates for the promotion of antiracism and a multisectoral system in healthcare. Topics discussed include gaps in healthcare driven by the social determinants of health, U.S. executive orders ending diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) programs and policies and withdrawing the U.S. from the World Health Organization, integration of primary and behavioral healthcare, health equity, health discrimination and bias, access to healthcare, and preventable health disparities.
