Abstract
The article stresses the imperative for activist and advocate leadership in public health education amid a politicized landscape. It discusses the role of doctor of public health education (DrPH) in addressing the political dimensions of public health. Actionabl steps to enhance preparedness for exigencies include reform of curricula for advocacy and resilience, integrating practice-experienced faculty in DrPH programs, and embedding core public health values in DrPH programs.
