Abstract
The article focuses on a retrospective evaluation of the “Crown-Guide,” an innovative prefabricated provisional restoration integrated into a surgical pilot guide, used for guided immediate implant placement (IIP) and restoration in the anterior maxillary region. In a study of 17 patients undergoing IIP with the Crown-Guide, statistically significant improvements were observed in esthetic outcomes measured by the pink esthetic score (PES) and white esthetic score (WES) over a follow-up period of at least one year, with implant survival at 94.4%. Minimal and statistically insignificant bone and soft tissue loss were reported, indicating stable clinical outcomes. The study concludes that the Crown-Guide method offers predictable esthetic and clinical results while enhancing procedural efficiency, though it notes the need for larger sample sizes to confirm these findings.
