Abstract
The UN World Food Programme (WFP) and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) have resumed food aid in Ethiopia due to the worsening hunger crisis. The WFP has implemented new systems to track food movements and receive community feedback to prevent aid diversion. USAID will monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of comprehensive reforms in the food assistance structure. The resumption of aid comes amidst severe drought and flooding in the country.
