Abstract
Keepers of The Land is a multimedia exhibition featuring contemporary Native American artists from Oklahoma. The exhibit explores the connection to the lands as Indigenous people, showcasing the artists' interpretations of being stewards and caretakers of the land. The exhibition includes traditional and contemporary pieces such as paintings, beadwork, moccasins, and textiles. It features 17 artists from nine different tribal nations, with a focus on women artists and a mix of established and emerging talents.
