Abstract

Boulder, Colorado has been ranked as the top metro area for remote work, according to a study by DesignRush. The city scored 77.5 out of 100 on the remote working suitability index, with the Raleigh-Cary metro region in North Carolina and the Austin area in Texas following closely behind. Factors such as housing costs, percentage of remote workers, broadband connections, and commute times were analyzed to create the index. Boulder's strong broadband infrastructure and thriving tech scene contribute to its high percentage of remote workers, with over 20% of the workforce working from home. [Extracted from the article]
