Abstract

Highland Base in Kerlingarfjoll, Iceland is a popular adventure resort that offers activities for guests in both summer and winter. In the summer, visitors can enjoy hiking, e-biking, and relaxing in the Highland Baths, which include thermal pools and a sauna. In the winter, reaching the resort is a challenging journey, but it offers opportunities for winter sports such as snowmobiling, snowshoeing, and backcountry skiing. Guests can stay in cozy lodges and huts and enjoy a roasted-lamb supper before witnessing the stunning northern lights. [Extracted from the article]
