Abstract
Severe thunderstorms are expected to hit the Texas Panhandle, including Lubbock and Amarillo, on Thursday, with the risk decreasing on Friday and Saturday. The storms may bring large hail and damaging wind gusts. Texas and other parts of the central US have been experiencing wild thunderstorms for weeks, resulting in deaths, power outages, and other damage. In other weather news, India is experiencing a heat wave, while Australia is facing the possibility of damaging winds and heavy rain. Additionally, there is a possibility of moderate geomagnetic storms caused by a coronal mass ejection from the Sun. [Extracted from the article]
