Abstract
I FUR TRADE, 1790-1812LETTERS 1-21 [Thompson's fourth letter to the London Committee has not survived, but again its contents can be inferred from Secretary Alexander Lean's reply.[1] Lean writes that Thompson's letter gave the Committee "much Satisfaction." Moreover, Lean writes, they "are also extremely well pleas'd with the Attention which you have shown, on all occasions, to the Duties of your Station they do not hesitate to advance your Salary to 60. pr Ann agreeably to your request."] [Extracted from the article]
