Abstract
The article explores the relationship between mistletoes and lianas in South American temperate rainforests, focusing on seed dispersal and drought resilience. It discusses how lianas serve as movement routes for arboreal animals, influencing forest composition and facilitating seed dispersal. The study reveals that mistletoes can parasitize lianas, potentially as a drought refuge due to their water transport capabilities.
