Abstract
The article is an editorial statement from the Behavioral Economics and Decision Analysis Department of the journal Management Science. The department seeks papers that explore how decisions are made by individuals and groups, with a focus on behavioral economics, decision analysis, and judgment and decision making. The department is interested in topics such as the psychology of decision making, models that account for uncertainty and deviations from rational behavior, methods to elicit and aggregate judgments, and interventions to improve decision making. The department values transparency and encourages authors to document their research process. The article also suggests that authors whose work does not have a behavioral element may consider submitting to other departments within the journal. [Extracted from the article]
