Abstract

This study analyzes the impacts of green energy adoption in the BRICS nations (Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa) from 2010 to 2022, focusing on economic growth, carbon emissions reduction, and public health improvements. Using panel regression models, the research finds that investments in renewable energy significantly enhance GDP and employment, reduce CO2 emissions, improve electricity access, and contribute to better health outcomes by lowering air pollution. The study highlights the importance of aligning renewable energy policies with sustainable development goals and recommends targeted government incentives, skill development, and international collaboration to accelerate the green energy transition in these emerging economies. These findings provide evidence-based insights for policymakers and stakeholders aiming to foster sustainable economic and environmental progress within the BRICS countries.
