Abstract
The article presents a fictionalized case study which discusses the company Luna Motors headquartered in Japan, the lack of competitiveness of its Brazilian automobile manufacturing plant Luna Brazil, and the plant workers' labor union Aliança Automotiva Brasiliera (AAB). President of Luna Brazil Paulo Ferreira's strategy to increase productivity and profit and whether AAB would endorse his plan are considered.
