Abstract

The article focuses on the role of group norm exercises in engineering education and how they help students negotiate expectations and improve group dynamics. It highlights both the benefits, such as fostering alignment of goals and resolving conflicts constructively, and the challenges, including a lack of critical reflection and the dismissal of alternative viewpoints.
