Abstract
The article discusses the presence of antisemitism in elite private schools in the United States. It highlights how these schools, despite being a small percentage of American schools, have a significant influence, with many members of President Biden's cabinet having attended them. The article argues that these schools have been at the forefront of promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) for decades, but that this has led to a pervasive culture of antisemitism. It provides examples of incidents where Jewish students have faced discrimination and challenges the DEI framework that categorizes Jews as white oppressors. The article suggests that the solution lies in either establishing new classical schools or reforming existing institutions. [Extracted from the article]
