Abstract
The article focuses on the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's (CDC) Partnering for Vaccine Equity (P4VE) program, developed during the COVID-19 pandemic to support over 500 community-based organizations in promoting equitable vaccine distribution. The program provided funding and a virtual learning community offering tailored educational content, peer-to-peer forums, and resource sharing to enhance vaccine outreach among racial and ethnic minoritized populations. Evaluation data indicate successful implementation, with extensive community engagement, training of trusted messengers, and administration of millions of vaccines. The P4VE model demonstrates potential for replication to address other public health challenges and persistent health inequities beyond COVID-19.
