An interview with Diane Ravitch, a writer and historian of education, is presented. Ravitch talks about her admission of being wrong about educational policy. She discusses the impact of the Big Beautiful Bill's universal voucher program on public education, as well as public school opposition to privatization, industry players undermining public education, and teacher dissatisfaction. She shares her views on the rightwing ideology of meritocracy and the need for women's equality.
