Abstract
Research conducted at the Federal University of Maranhao in Brazil focused on teaching communication and functional life skills to children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The study explored the efficacy of script fading in establishing vocal verbal emissions of sentences based on pictures representing actions in children with ASD. The findings suggested that script fading may improve communication skills and lead to the emergence of related non-verbal behavioral chains in some learners. The study highlights the importance of addressing communication difficulties in children with ASD through innovative interventions like script fading. [Extracted from the article]
