Abstract
The article argues for an expanded, justice-driven approach to disciplinary literacies that values how diverse communities—not just academic disciplines—create and share knowledge through reading, writing, and meaning-making practices. Topics include disciplinary literacies across academic and nonacademic communities, justice-focused pedagogy, and digital, fandom, and youth knowledge-building practices.
