Abstract
A recent study conducted by researchers at Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University compared the effectiveness of portfolio assessment and exams as methods of evaluating university students' academic performance. The study involved sixty 20-22-year-old engineering students at the American University of Sharjah who completed a questionnaire about the benefits of portfolio assessment.
