Abstract

The article focuses on preparing teachers to support Native student success through culturally responsive education and tribal perspectives. Topics include culturally responsive teaching, tribal college teacher education programs, and the challenges of standardized testing policies such as No Child Left Behind and the Every Student Succeeds Act.
