Abstract
The article focuses on a study conducted by researchers at Fujian Normal University in China, which explores the factors influencing college students' willingness to participate in sports-based disability assistance volunteer services. The study employs an extended Theory of Planned Behavior model, incorporating a new variable, Level of Awareness, which significantly impacts students' willingness to engage in such initiatives. Data from 697 college students revealed that higher levels of awareness correlate with stronger intentions to participate, while behavioral attitude, subjective norms, and perceptual-behavioral control also play mediating roles in this relationship. The findings provide insights for enhancing youth volunteer recruitment in Chinese universities and social organizations. [Extracted from the article]
