Abstract
The article focuses on research exploring the perspectives of Australian Muslim youth regarding Relationships and Sexuality Education (RSE). Conducted by Monash University, the study involved in-depth interviews with ten Muslim students aged 16 to 20, revealing that Islam significantly influences their understanding of inclusive RSE. The findings indicate that young Muslims exhibit both acceptance and resistance to certain RSE topics based on religious motivations, highlighting the importance of incorporating pluralistic viewpoints rooted in religious teachings of tolerance and respect. The research emphasizes that religious perspectives provide a framework for understanding sex, sexuality, and diverse sexual identities among these youth. [Extracted from the article]
