Abstract
The article examines the firing of Joe Gow as a tenured professor and chancellor at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse for producing and appearing in pornographic videos with his wife Carmen Wilson, a former academic. It describes the lawsuit filed by Gow against the university to challenge his firing as a tenured professor. It discusses the claim made by the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression that Gow's termination is a violation of his free speech rights and academic freedom.
