Abstract

Scholars and students of adult learning will likely find more familiar ground in chapter two's situation of generative knowing theory among prominent experiential learning theories. Nicolaides' evocative exploration of generative knowing also models nomadic scholarship, reaching beyond disciplinary and other boundaries, offering glimpses of what becomes possible when feminist new materialist concepts, in this case, begin to inform adult education work. I Generative Knowing i calls to all adult education and HRD scholars and practitioners open to exploring new ways of building the field while seeking ethical paths of personal and professional becoming in the process, together.
