Abstract
The article describes strategies for cultivating expert thinking skills or naturalistic decision-making among experiential pharmacy trainees. Activities to cultivate reasoning and decision-making skills include recorded patient workup, morning report-style presentations, constructed patient presentation, and forecasting of drug administration or prescribing. Examples of reflective questions to promote metacognition of decision-making skills are also cited.
