Abstract

This article examines the digital literacy abilities of teachers in the discipline of Islamic Religious Education at MTs Nahdlatul Khairaat Labuan Islamic Boarding School in Donggala Regency, Indonesia. Using qualitative methods and NVivo software for data analysis, the study finds that teachers demonstrate moderate proficiency in operating digital tools such as LCD projectors, PowerPoint, Zoom, and Google Classroom, which facilitates improved student understanding and engagement. Efforts to enhance digital literacy include training programs, curriculum integration with digital components, and infrastructure development like internet access, supported by both the Islamic Boarding School administration and teachers themselves. The research highlights the importance of digital literacy in modernizing Islamic Religious Education and recommends further studies with broader methodologies to assess its impact on learning outcomes.
