Abstract

Qualcomm has launched the 8-core Snapdragon X Plus chips, expanding the range of Windows on Arm products into the $700 to $900 price range. These chips, known as X1P-46-100 and X1P-42-100, are part of Qualcomm's Snapdragon X Elite processors and are designed to enable laptops and tablets to hit the $700 price point. The new chips offer improved performance and features, such as AI capabilities and LPDDR5x memory. Numerous PC makers, including Microsoft and Acer, have signed on to use the Snapdragon X family.
