Abstract
The article discusses the use of artificial intelligence (AI) by math teachers in their instructional planning and teaching. Topics include a RAND report in February 2025 which found that math and elementary teachers are less likely to report using AI tools or products than English/language arts, science and secondary teachers, the reasons for the hesitance of math teachers to try AI tools, and AI products being experimented by math teachers in addition to ChatGPT such as Google Gemini.
