Abstract

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) has allocated $5 million in funding to support tribal colleges and universities (TCUs) in their efforts to advance clean energy projects on their campuses. This investment reflects the DOE's commitment to collaborating with Native communities to promote energy independence and sustainability, as well as cultivate the next generation of tribal clean energy leaders. The funding will enable TCUs to develop plans for integrating clean, reliable, affordable, and local energy solutions on their campuses.
