Abstract

This article focuses on a systematic review from Hong Kong Metropolitan University examining the effects of errorless motor learning on movement outcomes across different populations. The review analyzed 29 studies involving 1,509 participants and found that errorless motor learning did not show a significant overall advantage compared to errorful learning, except for notable benefits in children and individuals with impairments. The evidence was limited by moderate to high risk of bias, substantial heterogeneity, and low certainty. The researchers recommend more rigorous future studies to better understand the conditions under which errorless motor learning is most effective. [Extracted from the article]
