Abstract
The article explores how literacy instruction for multilingual students can be enriched through cultural and linguistic reciprocity, where students' languages, experiences, and knowledge are treated as central to learning. Topics include valuing students' home languages; co-creating lessons and learning roles with students; and involving families and communities to foster inclusive, identity-affirming literacy practices.
