A holistic experience matters: Factors drive gifted students to recommend residential summer enrichment programs in Saudi Arabia.

Abstract
This study examines how gifted students' satisfaction with three components of a Residential Summer Enrichment Program (RSEP)—logistics arrangement, science program, and soft skills program—affects their intention to recommend the program to peers. Conducted at a Saudi Arabian public university with 356 gifted students in grades nine to eleven, the research employed Confirmatory Factor Analysis and Structural Equation Modeling to analyze these relationships. Results indicate that satisfaction with logistics arrangements has the strongest positive influence on students' recommendation intentions, followed by the soft skills program, while the science program's effect is minimal. Gender moderates the impact of the science and soft skills programs but not logistics, with females valuing the science program slightly more and males responding more to the soft skills program. The findings highlight the importance of well-organized logistics and holistic development—including social and emotional skills—in enhancing gifted students' engagement and advocacy for enrichment programs.
