Abstract

The article focuses on a study investigating the impact of student self-government on developing managerial potential among university students in Kazakhstan. Conducted at Toraighyrov University, the research involved a quasi-experimental design with two groups: an experimental group participating in a structured self-government program and a control group following the standard curriculum. Results indicated that the experimental group experienced significant improvements in self-orientation, self-esteem, and psycho-emotional wellbeing, while the control group showed no meaningful changes. The findings highlight the educational benefits of structured self-governance initiatives in enhancing leadership and organizational skills in higher education. [Extracted from the article]
