Abstract
The article focuses on the impact of childhood left-behind experience on trauma exposure and mental health outcomes in children. It highlights that such experiences are closely linked to increased risks of post-traumatic stress, loneliness, depression, and emotional difficulties, which can disrupt children's sense of safety and emotional regulation. These challenges may also affect academic performance and social relationships. The article emphasizes the importance of recognizing these invisible emotional scars and providing targeted support, counseling, and nurturing environments to help affected children develop resilience and improve their overall well-being.
