Abstract
The article focuses on a pilot action research project that evaluated the feasibility and preliminary impact of a cognitive enrichment intervention for middle-school students in Morocco. The study involved 42 adolescents divided into an Experimental Group, which received targeted cognitive training, and a Control Group. Results indicated that the Experimental Group showed significantly greater improvements in reasoning skills compared to the Control Group, with qualitative observations noting enhanced student confidence and engagement. The findings suggest that a low-cost, teacher-delivered model can effectively enhance higher-order cognitive skills in under-resourced public schools, although the authors caution that the study's quasi-experimental design and small sample size necessitate careful interpretation and further research.
