Abstract
The μ N e t project was developed as an educational and outreach program aiming to familiarize Greek high school students with cosmic-ray telescopes. The project leads to the construction, deployment and operation of a network of educational cosmic-ray telescopes throughout Greek schools. The deployment followed an hybrid scheme in its first year of operation (school term 2022–2023): 20 telescopes were constructed and installed in the region of the Peloponnese; about 50 schools and 500 students from all over Greece attended remotely the educational program of μ N e t. The devices, activities and educational software tools are briefly presented in this report, while a first analysis of the project as an educational intervention tool is performed.
