Abstract

IonQ has acquired a company with global quantum fidelity records, aiming to scale quantum computers to millions of qubits by 2030, targeting applications in pharmaceuticals, logistics, finance, aerospace, and defense. CityFiber marks one year of its Project Gigabit rollout in Cambridgeshire, delivering ultrafast full fiber broadband to homes and businesses in hard-to-reach UK areas, enhancing digital access and local business productivity. Additionally, Xantaro, a European network solutions provider, has joined the Jisc Network Solutions Framework to support next-generation connectivity across UK education and research institutions, offering streamlined procurement of advanced network technologies.
